Summer School 2018

The CDT-CMP is pleased to announce our first Summer School on Experimental Techniques in Condensed Matter, held in Bristol on June 25th – 29th 2018. The school is targeted at first and second year PhD students throughout the UK, with a capacity of up to 20 places, and will be free to attend. The format will include lectures from invited experts on a range of experimental and analysis, and practical workshops on experimental design, analysis and interpretation. Our goal is to introduce postgraduate students from the wider CMP community to a wide range of the techniques commonly used in our field. In particular, we aim to broaden the range of techniques which they can use for their research.
